Our students will be taught that character development is more important than the development of skills, and that those who faithfully practice will have the privilege of participating in the game or activity as much as possible. They will learn that the enjoyment of participation is as important as the satisfaction of winning, and that to play to the best of one’s potential is as important as winning. They will learn to appreciate and encourage each other as members of the same team, knowing that the activities are short term, but that relationships last a lifetime.

We
believe that a student’s participation in sporting or other extra-curricular
activities is a valuable experience that develops character as well
as intellectual and physical fitness. We also believe these activities
can be a positive influence for the students and the community as a
whole. 
Our
desire in all activities is to think and act as Christians whose values
are shaped by God’s Word and God’s will. As we do this, we
believe that God will honor our commitment and will use our activities
to help shape the lives and destiny of the young people entrusted to
our care.
