Who We Are
Middle school is a critical time for your child, one that requires them to be challenged academically and nourished spiritually. Our Junior High program builds on fundamental subjects and prepares students for the rigors of high school.
At Bethany Academy, we know every day is another opportunity for our seventh and eighth graders to become active learners and disciples of Christ. Our junior high students experience rigorous core content classes, as well as a biblical worldview course that challenges them to grow in their walk with the Lord. Furthermore, our students attend weekly chapels, Bible classes, and service learning opportunities that help them put their faith into action.
Stepping Stones to the Future
At Bethany Academy we have created stepping stones to help ease your child’s transition from elementary to high school. We know that even smallest things during this transition can help out in a big way.
We offer a Study Smarts course that focuses on time management, organizational, and study skills - all of which are necessary for success in high school. Whether your student needs help with homework or something as simple as unlocking their locker, our teachers are available to lend a hand and passionate about seeing students succeed. Beginning in seventh grade, our junior high students are taught by high school instructors for certain courses. This helps ease their fears about high school and makes them even more prepared for the next step.
Lessons Outside The Classroom
Through physical education and our sports program, junior high students practice teamwork and healthy competition while learning to display a Christ-like attitude on and off the field of play.
Student Council, art, band, and choir are also a part of the junior high experience here at Bethany. Our goal is to inspire our students, helping them realize their God-given gifts and talents!
Visit Our Campus
