We know that students in 7th and 8th grades must be challenged academically and nourished spiritually. Our junior high students experience rigorous core content classes in addition to a biblical worldview course that begins the challenge of making their faith their own. They also attend weekly chapels, Bible classes, and service learning opportunities to help them put their faith into action.
Through physical education and our sports program, junior high students learn the importance of teamwork and healthy competition while learning to display a Christ-like attitude on and off the field of play.
Student Council, art, band, and choir are also a part of the junior high experience here at Bethany. Our goal is to inspire our students to help them realize their God-given gifts and talents!
In junior high, as well as at all other grade levels, the dual focus of creating life-long learners and Christ-like disciples is core here at Bethany Academy. That’s why it’s reflected in our mission statement as well as in the classroom on a daily basis.
