Dr. Iglesia completed his undergraduate studies at Lewis University and his Master’s and Doctoral studies at Trinity International University. This is his second year at Bethany Academy. He founded the Urban Bible Institute of NWC and has directed it for the last six years. Dr. Iglesia and his wife, Dawn, have two lovely daughters.

This is Mrs. Johnson’s 7th year at Bethany Academy.  She received a B.S. in Secondary Education in the areas of Math and History from Maranatha Baptist Bible College.  She and her husband, Bryan, have two children who attend the Academy and one who is a recent graduate from Bethany.

Mrs. Kasperek has a B.S. degree in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. This is her 5th year at Bethany Academy. Kelli and her husband, Tom, have three children who attend the Academy.

Mrs. Ginger Kendrick

This is Mrs. Kendrick’s 8th year at Bethany Academy.  She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh with a degree in Physical Education and Health.    Ginger and her husband Tim have a son with special needs, one daughter who attends the Academy and one who graduated from BA.

Mr. John Merry

This is Mr. Merry's second year at Bethany Academy, having previously taught at another Christian school.  He has a B.S. in Business from the University of Minnesota and earned his Master’s Degree from Bethel University to become licensed as an English Teacher.  He enjoys golfing, bicycling, reading, and serving as Treasurer of his church.  John and his wife, Jenny, have two children who attend Bethany Academy.

Mrs. Andrea Dugan

This is Mrs. Dugan’s first year at Bethany Academy. She received her B.A. in Science Education from Bethel University in St. Paul. For the last three years, Andrea and her husband lived in the Chicago area where she taught science and he was a staff pastor at Bloomingdale Church. They have one daughter.

Mrs. Nancy Myers

Mrs. Myers studied Art and Design at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She developed and operated her own Custom Frame and Art shop, designed and marketed an original card and gift line and led Color and Design seminars. She brings a variety of experience and a strong passion for Art.  Nancy and her husband, Michael, have twins who are in the 9th grade.

This is Mr. Peters’ 7th year teaching at Bethany Academy.  After graduating from Northwestern College in Roseville with a B.A. in History, he received his Social Studies Licensure from Crown College.  He coaches the girls’ Varsity soccer team and the boys’ JV baseball team.  Chad and his wife, Kari, have two sons and a daughter.

Mr. Drew Cavalier

This is Mr. Cavalier's first year at Bethany Academy, having previously taught Spanish and traveled in Spain. He has a B.A. degree in Education from Bethel University. Drew's background also includes work in Special Education, as well as in the church as a Director of Youth Ministries. Mr. Cavalier enjoys music, sports and spending time with his wife Meghan, and their son.

Mr. Aaron Petersen

This is Mr. Petersen’s second year at Bethany Academy. He graduated from Crown College with a B.S. degree in Music Education. His main instruments are trumpet, drums, and voice. He has been in music groups that have toured all over the United States, Canada, and Europe. Aaron and his wife, Nikki, have one son.

Jeff Ray

Mr. Ray is an alumnus of Bethany Academy and graduated from Northwestern College in Roseville with a B.A. in Mathematics Education. This is his 14th year teaching at Bethany Academy.  In addition to serving as Athletic Director, Mr. Ray coaches boys’ Varsity basketball, and boys’ Varsity baseball.  He and his wife, JayAnn, also an alumna of the Academy, have three daughters.
